Continuation of #S32

The dpad is a great idea. Is it possible to add preset haptics based on popular keyboards?
@OverClocked · 15/09/2026, 19:44:02
To feel iOS stock keyboard like haptics, we can set strength between 40 and 50% and firmness between 60 and 70%.
Strength - 45% and firmness - 65% should be optimal.

@Nikhil.tom If you give me exact values for specific presets, I will do it, but it seems unnecessary to me.
I could test it out, I need time, maybe @OverClocked can chip in?
Stock keyboard is strength 45 and firmness 65 % exactly as described above.
Yandex keyboard depends in the vibration strength already set, at around 80 percent - EF key should be around 45 strength and 50 % firmness.
Swiftkey : Strength 60 firmness 25
Either we can go with presets, or allow the user to save multiple haptic settings.
@muleluku @Nikhil.tom haptic presets are in build 430 and will be in 2.1.3 on the App Store. Settings > Customize haptics now has four presets under the pad, using the numbers Nikhil sent: EFKey (default) 60/70, Native like 45/65, Y like 45/50, SK like 60/25. Tap one and it applies right away, the keyboard picks it up on the next keypress. Below that you can save up to 5 of your own. Swipe left to delete, press and hold to rename or overwrite one with the current values.
Will test for sure.
The preset are nice but it shouldn't be named after other keyboards. Native is fine.
Users were specifically asking for haptics that feels like certain other keyboards. They should know what is what, so....
Yes I know, but this will give a chance for others to attack the dev.
We can name “That Russian Keyboard” and “That Tech Giant’s Keyboard”.
Jokes aside, something like “Soft Feedback” instead of Yandex and “Strong Feedback” instead of SwiftKey should be okay.
