Allow more backspace long-press customisability
I’d like very much to see more backspace options. One thing I like about swiftkey is holding backspace doesn’t begin with deleting several letters before switching to whole words; it simply begins deleting entire words after the standard long press delay.
It fits well with how I type and allows more control over how much of a sentence I am deleting without having to guess how long I have to hold before whole words start disappearing. I prefer to repeatedly tap rather than press if I want to delete several characters rapidly

Have you tried turning ON this settings:-
Efkey App > Keyboard > Gestures > “Delete words by holding ⌫”
I am aware of the gesture, yeah. Typing gestures have never flowed well with my typing style. I much prefer tapping and holding.
Highlighted setting is for tapping and holding, not swiping.
Turning this setting ON does just that. You can tap and hold the backspace key and it’ll erase word by word, until you let go. I think you’re confusing this setting with swiping back space to delete everything.
I’m guessing this is a pro feature since it doesn’t appear in my settings.
I forgot if it’s a pro feature or not. I thought you were a testflight tester.
