For multi-language use, allow choice of keyboard layout across languages

I would like to be able to use the Spanish keyboard layout for both English and Spanish input so that I can use the 'ñ' without having to change language, but still default to English autocorrect. In other words, I would like the primary language to be set to English, but the keyboard layout to be Spanish. I live in Spain and type about 50% in English and 50% in Spanish, often combining the two in a single sentence or message.

I am sure that this would be of benefit for many other language pairs with similar layouts. One way to implement this would be within the settings for each language. Right now, there is the option to select QWERTY/QWERTZ/AZERTY keyboard layout. An additional pulldown here to allow the user to select the keyboard language for this language would be perfect.

For my example, I mean having a menu option within the settings for English that would allow me to select the Spanish keyboard layout while still defaulting to English autocorrect.
