The option to turn off "let go to delete everything". Sometimes I swipe barely too far and it deletes the whole sentence.

Maybe also: swiping up from backspace button makes it delete everything whereas you can swipe left all the way to the edge of the screen for single words. Right now I can only swipe about 60-70% to the left of the screen before it deletes everything. It would be nice to be able to go 100%. Swiping up would preserve the "delete everything" as a special case.

Also some control over its point movement like there is with "hold spacebar to move cursor" would be nice!

@ƓaⱫeƁaᏝ the left third of the keyboard is a "delete everything" zone, so a long word-by-word swipe that goes a bit too far lands in it. Until the switch arrives: when the bar says "Let go to delete everything", moving back right before you let go cancels it, and after a delete, tapping the note in the bar brings the text back. 2.2.2 adds a switch under Gestures, "Delete everything by swiping far left": turn it off and the swipe only ever deletes word by word, all the way to the edge.
