I have the comma and period key hidden, so when I change to the symbols page, the symbols and return keys shrink and the space bar expands.
When switching back and forth between symbols and alphas, it feels a bit twitchy and jumpy.
Other combinations of comma and period key and native symbols order settings may have slight alignment issues as well, too many combinations to create screenshots of though.

I do have the period key visible, but still often open up "symbols" page to access the punctuation and am bothered by the flicking of the keyboard. I mean, leave the period key visible and keep the keyboard still, no moving parts.

@muleluku fixed in build 426 (and in 2.1.3 on the App Store). the letters page and the 123 page now share one bottom row, same widths and same positions whatever you have on for comma, period, emoji or language key. switching back and forth, nothing moves. the letters page stayed exactly as it was and the symbols page follows it now, so with comma and period hidden the space bar on symbols is a bit shorter than before, same length as on letters. the second symbols page (the one with < >) lines up too, return sits in the same spot.
@CEE with native symbols order the period used to disappear next to the space bar on the symbols page, that's probably the flicker you saw. if the period key is on, it now stays there too, even though row 3 already has one.
Very nice. Feels much better now.
