Add 汉语(简体中文)
Here are the two screenshots to perfectly demonstrate the "Dynamic Key" logic of the Chinese 9-key layout:
📸 Image 1 (Idle / Not Typing):
The button under Backspace shows "换行" (Return/Enter).
📸 Image 2 (Active / Typing Pinyin):
The exact same button dynamically transforms into "重输" (Reset/Clear)!
Clicking it instantly wipes out the unconfirmed Pinyin in the preview bar, allowing users to restart typing without deleting anything already in the text box.
This design is incredibly essential for fast 9-key typing in China, as it completely avoids accidental hits and saves massive keyboard space by replacing the useless Emoji key.

@BincLiu Simplified Chinese with the 10-key Pinyin layout has been in EFKey since 2.2, but there was no way to drop the pinyin in one tap. In 2.2.1 the ^_^ key in the third row turns into 重输 while you type, and tapping it clears the unconfirmed pinyin without touching the text already in the field. I put it there instead of under ⌫ because that spot holds 分隔, which you need exactly while typing.
@BincLiu I changed it to your layout for 2.2.1: while you type pinyin, the top-left key turns into 分隔 and the key under ⌫ turns into 重输. When you're not typing they go back to , and 换行, and ^_^ stays at the bottom of the right column.
Please translate the in-app interface into Chinese. Version 462 introduced a "re-enter" (or "clear/reset") button; however, there is a bug where the "line break" function—displayed when no text has been entered—is linked to the "send" button in the bottom-right corner, causing a line break to trigger a message send instead.
Could you also make use of the space on the left side of the screen, following the layout in the images I sent you? Currently, everything is aligned to the right, which makes one-handed typing a nightmare. We also need easy access to punctuation marks like
,。?!. Furthermore, when typing, the Pinyin (phonetic input) should be visible—perhaps displayed above the Chinese characters. The current layout is difficult to read, and it limits the number of candidate words available for selection. Please implement these improvements exactly as shown in the two images I provided!@BincLiu 换行 sent the same newline character as the send key, so a chat that sends on Enter sent the message. Fixed for build 463 (and the App Store update after 2.2.1): in a send field 换行 now adds a line break, the left column shows ,。?! when you're not typing and the pinyin syllables while you type, so the bar has room for more candidates, and the pinyin above them is bigger. I couldn't test it inside WeChat itself, so tell me if it still sends there. A Chinese translation of the app is a bigger job and isn't part of this build.
@BincLiu Done, it's going into build 464, I'll post here when it's up. Digits on 123 and the number row type digits now, 123 opens the 3x3 grid with the symbol column on the left, ^_^ is gone and return is the tall key on the right, and the gaps between keys are even, so the keys got taller. The swipe-up delete comes after that.
Remember to add localization (Chinese translation); the overall layout and usage logic are already perfect.
Please add Arabic numerals to the 9-key input layout to make entering numbers easier.
Also, allow a swipe-up gesture to jump directly to the text input box.
