Treat consistently mistyped letters in single words more generously in terms of corrections

If I type aubacription when I mean to type subscription it would be nice to get subscription as a suggestion, the chances of mistyping each letter in a word are not independent events.

I agree. Some of the suggestions in your case seem unlikely given what you’ve typed. This is probably a situation where swipe and type are a bit different though. With swipe you might travel over a high number of letters to swipe a relatively short word.
Yes, probably mainly an improvement for tapping. Swiping is already much more forgiving of lazy finger placement
@expipiplus1 this is the same screenshot as your other report: the engine handles both wrong s's fine, but the keyboard had lost where you touched each letter, so it only had the letters and guessed from the start of the word (Cuba, Aruba). Fixed for build 462 and in 2.2.1 on the App Store: the touches are kept, and aubacription becomes subscription.
