spacebar trackpad mode / cursor control
Any chance we could get a spacebar trackpad mode option where the cursor glides smoothly rather than "clicks" in between each letter (similar to iOS)?
For some reason I find it easier and quicker to control the cursor this way, rather than navigating it with clicks and individual letters.

A third-party keyboard cannot achieve this because it is an iOS limitation. The stock keyboard is a part of the operating system, allowing trackpad movement at the display driver level. In contrast, a third-party keyboard operates as a sandboxed app, so trackpad movement is limited to incremental steps.
