Make emojis and emojis keyboard view larger size like native keyboard
What would you like? - I'd like to have the emojis viee show large emojis and sizing like the native iOS keyboard
Why it would help - easier to pick the emoji and keep a consistent feel to the native keyboard

@xddataii the emoji panel has the same height as the letter keyboard, so the emoji stayed at 40 pt to fit four rows. Added for build 459 and 2.2.1 on the App Store: Keyboard › More settings › Emoji › Large emoji gives you native-size emoji, about 7 across, with one row fewer since the panel keeps its height.
Thanks. Will test it out.
I think point in showing the two screenshots was that the iOS keyboard increases height for the emojis whereas EFkeys was keeping the same height and trying to squeeze them in. Was looking for the keyboard height change
I see the implementation of the large emojis and three rows. Looks better but can it be tried to match the iOS keyboard and keep the four rows and increase the size of the keyboard for the emoji panel?
@xddataii the panel kept the letter keyboard's height, so with big emoji only three rows fit. Fixed for build 460 and 2.2.1 on the App Store: with Large emoji on, the panel now grows about 40 pt like the iOS one and keeps four rows. In landscape it stays at three.
That seems to work but there’s also a difference in the horizontal spacing of emoji between numbers on and numbers off. With numbers off you can fully fit 8 emojis in horizontally exactly like the stock keyboard. With number row enabled, 8 emoji don’t fully fit. See screenshots.
Edit: just noticed when comparing screenshots that this seems to be caused by the zoom to preserve keyboard height when switching between the larger keyboard with numbers and the emoji screen. Maybe this isn’t a bug as not sure how to resolve without having a more jarring change in height when switching between letters and emoji. Feel free to ignore if not fixable.
This is much better now. Thank you so much
@xddataii and @Unmutual you both tested a lot, can we set it as fixed?
Yes
