Allow custom keyboard background photos
Thanks for the great software!
Please allow for using a custom photo as a background with transparent keys on top. This is a feature I liked a lot on gboard and swiftly on android.

@efkey coming in 2.2.1, the next App Store update: in the Custom theme, Background now has a Photo option. The keys go see-through over your photo, and a Photo fade slider darkens or lightens it so the letters stay readable.
I attached 2 pics. The pic on the left is with the slider fade all the way to the left. If the pic could be faded more, I think that would be great. The pic on the right, is with the slider fade all the way to the right. I think this works as the pic is still visible if you look closely at it.
@MuffinMonster your photo is dark, so the fade darkens it toward black. Do you want it washed out toward white instead, so it looks lighter behind the keys? I can add a Darken / Lighten choice for that. Build 456 also gets a key transparency slider and lets you move and zoom the photo.
Yep, washed out a little more would be great. Well done!
@MuffinMonster build 456 has it: under Photo fade there's now Automatic / Darken / Lighten, and Lighten washes the photo out toward white. Text colour and key transparency are adjustable too, and a saved theme keeps the photo.
@MuffinMonster build 456 has a Darken / Lighten choice under Photo fade. Pick Lighten and your photo washes out toward white instead of black.
Move and Zoom picture, photo fade, lighten and darken, key transparency, text color for the keys and suggestion bar are all working as they should.
The photo doesn’t extend up to the every edges on my testing.
I can't do anything about that, what you're seeing is drawn by iOS and EFKey has no reach there.
Can't wait to use this!
For @Nikhil.tom's issue with the undrawable parts, maybe efkey could have a small distance near the top, top corners and bottom where the image fades to the background colour (dark or light as appropriate). This would make the transition to the undrawable areas a little less jarring
