The Swipe Down on the space bar triggers iOS one handed mode. I don’t use multiple languages , so provide an option to trigger AI rewrite if I swipe up the keyboard. Right now the action is only for language translation.
Why it would help
Helps avoid accidentally triggering single handed mode when trying to rewrite the sentence.

Swipe down for the letter O doesn't work for you? I think it's more comfortable too.
Yes. It does, but that’s a two step process. I like the space bar option that allows me to instantly rewrite. Just that the gesture overlap can be easily resolved with a config to allow swipe up instead.

@kramanand the bottom edge of the screen belongs to iOS, so a long swipe down from the spacebar runs into its one-handed mode and a keyboard can't turn that off. In 2.2.1, the next App Store update, swipe up and swipe down on the spacebar each get the same list of actions, AI rewrite included, and each direction has its own AI action. So you can put AI rewrite on swipe up and set swipe down to Nothing.
