@bruhdepartment 2.2.1 is already in App Store review, so this one lands in 2.2.2: turn on "Clean links when pasting" under EF › LAB (it's off by default). Anything you paste through EFKey (the paste offer in the bar, clipboard history, the paste gesture) then loses tracking parameters like utm_source, fbclid or YouTube's si, and the rest of the link stays as it was. Pasting from the system menu by holding the field happens outside the keyboard, so that one I can't clean.
@bruhdepartment one more idea came to me while testing this, so I built it right away: in 2.2.2 you can long-press a link that's already in clipboard history and pick "Clean link", even with the LAB switch off. It rewrites the saved link without the tracking parameters, so from then on it pastes clean.
@bruhdepartment small change before 2.2.2 ships: the history menu row is now called "Remove tracking" (the old name sounded like deleting the item), and it shows on every link, saying "No tracking found" when there's nothing to strip. Links from ads also lose campaign_id and ad_id now, and Facebook's l.facebook.com redirect gets unwrapped to the real link.
Fantastic. I’m amazed by how quickly you implement all of these features.
When I get into something, I can't tear myself away from it :)
