Automatic correction in the search field
One feature I’d really like to see is autocorrect support in Safari’s address bar. I often type my search queries directly into the Safari address bar, and I’d like the keyboard to automatically correct misspelled words there as well, just like it does in other text fields.
It would be great if this could be added in a future update.

@Zoltán I'm keeping autocorrect off in Safari's address bar on purpose. Safari tells the keyboard that field is for web addresses, and correcting there would turn domains and site names into dictionary words, so whatever you type in it stays exactly as typed.
I understand that Safari marks it as a URL field, so autocorrect is disabled by default. Perhaps you could add a separate setting such as “Enable autocorrect in URL fields”. When enabled, the keyboard could treat the Safari address bar more like a normal text field and apply autocorrections, while keeping the current behavior as the default. This would be especially useful when using the address bar for normal text searches rather than URLs.
@Zoltán I thought about the toggle, but I'm leaving it out. Queries typed into the address bar usually end with Go, and correcting the last word at that point would cancel Safari's own completion, so the switch wouldn't fix most one- or two-word searches anyway. The search engine already fixes typos in the query, and any misspelled word you type there still shows the correction in the suggestion bar, one tap away.
