@sbk the Tamil keyboard (Tamil 99, same layout as the iOS one) was already built, but a version check on the language data hid it from the list. Fixed for build 439: Tamil shows up under Typing › Language and asks to download its data (about 24 MB) when you turn it on.
Not working or do not see if the "Tamil" keyboard is even displayed here. Attached the screenshot of the keyboard configuration hereby, but when I click on the keyboard settings you cab see it just says multiple language and no traces of "Ta" language. If any particular settings or pairings needs to be done, let me know.
It's working now with that option. But am curious I couldn't setup like what you showed in the popup, where it lists all the downloaded languages, but for me I get only "🌐" language icon. It doesn't list all the languages added like it shows for you. I also have 3 languages in my keyboard - English, French & Tamil.
Other than that, you can close this ticket. As it's working.

You can't use the system switch for that, you have to swipe through space, or enable the button for the language switch in EFKey.

You can forget that, I found the option to activate the language list button. All is well.
