Fully Customizable Comma/Period Key
What would you like?
It would be wonderful to be able to replace the comma/period key with any letter or symbol.
Why it would help
For people who prefer smaller layouts (or an identical multilingual layout), this would allow easy access to high-frequency letters. Albanian Ë (7.74% frequency) comes to mind, Ç (0.15%) could simply be accessed under long-press for instance. Romanian speakers and others may also find this useful.

@bruhdepartment in 2.2, the next App Store update, you can tap the comma or period keycap in Keys settings and put any character there, ë for example. The comma then sits in the period's long-press, and with the period key the symbol grid stays on its long-press with the period preselected. Ç on that key's long-press goes through "Customize long-press", which is part of Pro.
Long press comma, default settings, why does the long press on comma now show a comma?
It could be a because of this new feature #S305
@Ed that comma came from another change in build 439: it put the original character first when you long-press a symbol, and the comma key's emoji/settings menu wasn't excluded. That's also why releasing on it opened emoji instead of typing a comma. Fixed for build 441 (and 2.2 on the App Store): the long-press shows only the emoji and settings icons again, with emoji preselected.
My reported point is solved.
