A tip jar
MuffinMonster TESTER ·
What would you like? a tip jar
Why it would help Our great developer puts a tremendous amount of personal time into getting this keyboard humming. The current one time fee for purchasing this keyboard is very low. With a tip jar of various amounts, one could donate more money to Efkey. amounts of $1.99, $$4.99, $$9.99, and $$19.99 would be sufficient. This would ensure EFkey is the best keyboard out there. (and it is)

Anything except subscriptions, please 🙏
@MuffinMonster tip jar is in build 430 (and 2.1.3 on the App Store). EF tab, right under EFKey Pro: "Support EFKey", four one-time tips at the amounts you listed. They go through Apple, unlock nothing and never renew, so no subscription sneaking in. On TestFlight a tip costs nothing, it's Apple's sandbox, so feel free to try it. On the App Store it shows up once Apple approves the tips together with 2.1.3.
Instead of small tip nice tip etc, it could be something creative like buy me a coffee, pay for my gas etc idk and for if someone without pro is paying then for amounts more than the cost for pro it should automatically unlock for for them.
Suggestion: use local currency of the user. I selected 4 dollar in the app and apple asks me to confirm to pay 5 euros. I was like... Didn’t I read it well? But it’s dollar vs euro
And agree with @alphaec004 about the original tip jar idea, cup of coffee, whatsoever
I noticed that too, o #B224
@Ed that's TestFlight, not the app. In the test environment Apple sends me the prices in US$ even for a euro account, while the purchase sheet charges in your real currency. The App Store version shows euros in the app too. Sorry about the scare at the confirm step.
