Light Mode Keys on Native Theme Needs to be Translucent
@efko , you had made the keys in dark mode of the native theme translucent, but the light mode keys are still opaque. Please make them slightly translucent like the stock keyboard for a consistent appearance.
Here are the screenshots of stock keyboard and EFKey from Whatsapp for reference. Even though they look identical at first glance, stock key fill is translucent giving the entire keyboard a sleek appearance.

@OverClocked done for build 426 (and 2.1.3 on the App Store). With Native in light mode on iOS 27 the keys are now white at 92% over the system background instead of solid white, same trick as the dark ones. Your WhatsApp screenshots were the first time I could actually see it: in Messages the stock light key measures pure 255, so I had it written down as opaque. Over your blue wallpaper stock came out 240/252/254 and mine flat 255.
It won't match stock 100%. Apple's key also boosts saturation, which is why theirs goes a bit cyan over blue. A plain fill can't do that without a blur layer behind every key, and that's exactly the performance problem I'm trying to stay away from, so the tint is there, just softer. Key shadows are off in this mode, otherwise the shadow shows through the key and it turns greyish. A light keyboard over a dark app stays solid, same as dark mode.
@efko The translucency has improved now, yet background colors are less visible through the keys than on the stock keyboard. If additional transparency affects performance, we can keep the current setup. Screenshots of the stock and EFKey while in this app for reference. The stock shows a hint of blue on the Shift and Z keys, while EFKey does not.
@OverClocked build 427 (and 2.1.3 on the App Store) drops the light key fill from 92% to 85%. I measured your two screenshots: over the blue, the stock Shift key is 240/252/254 and mine on 426 came out 250/252/252, so there was barely any tint left. At 85% it's roughly twice as much.
It still won't be as blue as stock. Apple's key boosts saturation, and to get that much shift with a plain white fill I'd have to go down to around 50%, which turns the keys visibly grey over a normal white app. 85% is about as low as they still read as white keys. Performance is the same, it's just a different fill value.
@efko At 85%, the translucency looks better now. I understand that in the stock keyboard, letter keys are rendered using dynamic translucent materials rather than a solid percentage of opacity. And doing so on EFKey will impact the performance. So, let’s leave it at 85%.
