Test EFkey only on stable IOS versions.

What would you like? Would it be better to test efkey only on ios stable versions?

Why it would help IOS beta and developer builds can be buggy. Those builds can affect EFkey and cause more bugs that might not be actual bugs. I like the beta and developer versions of Ios. Just a thought.

Your concerns are very valid. But this is a double-edged sword. In some scenarios (imagine that iOS 28 is in Beta, and brings drastic changes), this means that when the OS is released, it needs time for the app to catch up.

Maybe a hybrid approach: to not accept Beta/Dev feedback except when it's the next to the release of the new version?

But IIRC, @efko was already using iOS 27 before it got released, so... this means that he would have to stop doing that too. 😂

It was a thought, in fact I was trying to find a way to delete this post before anyone saw it. 🤣

I think that again for some time people don't have a completely good reason to use unstable versions... there was just a big hype around iOS 27.

I started using iOS after 11 or 12 (not sure). Android, I started earlier, with the good and old Eclair (2.1) on a Samsung Galaxy (the first one). It was nice seeing it grow until it started to become crap and full of restrictions (around Android Oreo or something like that), which I call the iOShittification of Android. It's when I moved to iOS. And I enjoyed it, until around iOS 15/16, which where things started to crumble.

After iOS 17 issues, I changed my approach: only update when the next version comes out. As an example, I only left iOS 18 (even though everyone and their dog was saying how dangerous it would be for me) a few months ago, with the release of iOS 26.6.

For me, the same will apply to iOS 27. I will move it there, but when 28 is in development beta branches. I don't mind testing one app or two (like this one, but no more than a few), but not an OS. For me, they should be super stable. They are the structure of everything.
