square root √ or powers ^ or **
What would you like?
it would be great if you could add the square root function or raise to a power which you could also use to get square roots or cube roots or whatever now it just does addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division I’m not asking for sin or cosines or any trig functions just the square root and the powers I think it’ll be great.
Why it would help
most basic calculators will do addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and will at least have a square root key or a power key. I just think this would be a great idea to add. Maybe it’s complicated. I don’t know.

@kendall.webb I'm going to pass on this one. The calculator in the bar is meant for quick math while you're typing a message, like splitting a bill or adding up a few prices, and I want to keep it that small. The ^ and √ keys only live on the second symbols page anyway, so for powers and roots the Calculator app ends up faster than typing them inline. Every extra operator is also one more way for normal text to trigger a result in the bar. Things like ^^ or **bold** would start showing numbers where nobody asked for one. Plus, minus, times, divide and parentheses stay as they are.
