Black Bar Appears After Rotating Back to Portrait Mode
This is a bug in iOS itself. I can’t fix it from inside a keyboard, Apple has to. If you run into it too, tap me too here instead of reporting it again.
When I rotate my phone, the keyboard adjusts to landscape mode correctly. However, when I rotate it back to portrait mode, a black bar appears at the bottom of the screen. Could this issue be fixed?

@Zoltán the keyboard only learned it was back in portrait after the rotation animation had finished, so for about half a second it kept its landscape height and the gap under the keys showed up black. Fixed for build 464, and in 2.2.2 on the App Store: the height now switches at the start of the rotation.
It’s still bug.
@Zoltán I compared build 464 with SwiftKey frame by frame on my phone. The grey gap with small keys is gone in 464, but a black flash of about a tenth of a second is still there right after the rotation, and SwiftKey shows the same flash. iOS resizes the keyboard area before a third-party keyboard gets to draw into it, so that part is out of my hands.
