Number row changes alignment or size when the Keyboard is Uppercase vs Loweecase

App Store Released Typing & autocorrect Catalan build 450 Minor — cosmetic or rare fixed in 2.2.1

Gòrg · iOS 27.0 · iPhone 17 · v2.2 ·

Steps to reproduce

  1. Type the first letter in capital letters and then wait for the Keyboard to switch automatically to lowercase. On that switch, the row number characters behave weird.
  2. If you pres the shift key so the keyboard switches from lower to capitals, the same happens

What I expected

I expected the numbers not to move

What happened instead

The numbers move.

Confirmed and reproduced. There’s a slight upward movement and back on the number row when switching between uppercase and lowercase letters on the keyboard with shift.

@Gòrg the numbers were getting the size and position meant for capital letters whenever shift turned on, so they jumped a little each time the keyboard switched case. Fixed for 2.2.1, the next App Store update: the number row now stays put and only the letters change.
