@gingerbeardman the keyboard decides an open failed when it's still on screen a moment later, and inside EFKey itself it never goes away, so you got a false error. This will be in 2.2, the next App Store update: long-pressing the cog inside the app just hides the keyboard so you can see the settings behind it, no error.
