Replacing words with punctuation after them inserts space after that’s tricky to remove.
Steps to reproduce
- Spot a wrong word that has punctuation after it
- Highlight the word and swipe the correct one
What I expected
The word should be replaced without adding a space between the word and the punctuation.
What happened instead
- When a word is being replaced that has punctuation after it (e.g. a period, colon, semicolon, parenthesis, quotation mark, etc.), a space shouldn’t automatically be entered after the replacement word. Correcting it is a pain; if you backspace, the new word word is deleted, but if you add another space, a period is entered which you then have to delete to get it back the way you want.
